A one-act play.
The outline of this performance is based on the best-selling book Gangsta Granny by author David Walliams. If you’ve read the book, you must see this accompanying performance.
This is a musical story with dance elements, full of great surprises in every scene.
Briefly, the plot surrounds Ben, who has the same nightmare every Friday: his parents leave him with his grandmother. These are the most boring Fridays in Ben’s world, as his grandma wants nothing more than to play Scrabble and eat cabbage. She even smells like cabbage (don’t say that out loud!). Ben’s grandmother has a secret, though, that will change Ben’s view of her forever…
